What to do with an Under Stairs space

A Panel was created that followed the profile of the risers in the under stairs area from the underside of the stairwell to the floor.

The shelves had a sculptured profile to accommodate the body of each bottle.

Hidden LED lighting highlighted the under-stairs area around the panel.

Under Stairs Wine Rack

Two floating shelves, designed to hold a Whiskey collection, were created on the back wall of the cellar. All the shelves and panels had the same Cavalry Grey colour finish.

We created a custom-designed door, with a dark brown aluminium framework and a tinted glass panel, for the entrance to the wine cellar.

Grey Melamine Bookcase

The Bookcase was manufactured in a printed Lockeport Melamine finish. The spacing was defined by the client to accommodate her various sizes of books.

Space was created on the left to accommodate a flat screen TV.

Modern Server in Fawn with 3 door fridge

The top of the Server was constructed from Eeze Quartz Whisper stone in a fawn finish, giving a light, airy feel.

Space was created for a 3 door under counter stainless steel fridge for easy access and utility.

An ice making machine was installed at the end under the counter, with a convenient sliding mechanism.

The Display section has Silver mirrors and 10mm glass shelves.

LED lighting was installed in the displays together with Wine Racks at both ends.

Server (Bar without a front counter)

The Server was constructed with a Duco colour finish of the client's choice. The top of the Server was constructed from Eezi Quartz Whisper stone.

Three Display sections were created above the Server top.  A three row wine rack were created at each end of the displays.
The two end Displays had lockable glass doors. The Display sections had Bronze mirrors and 10mm glass shelves were installed.
Warm White LED lighting was installed in the displays. Space was created for a 3 door under counter stainless steel fridge.

Solid Okoume Bookcase

Solid Okoume Bookcase

The Bookcase was made from solid Okoume and Anigre veneers. 

Solid timber was used for the top of the cupboards, fluted columns, edging, base and capping. Double veneer boards were used to create 120mm fluted divisions and the external structure of the cabinetry.

Fluted columns and a decorative capping were featured in the design of the Bookcase.

The decorative capping followed the lines of the three bookcases and was squared at each end of the Bookcase. The fascia was mounted with the corbels and appliqués which were stained and sealed to match the cabinetry.

The Bar top, front and rear serving shelves were made from solid Mahogany. The frontage of the bar and doors were constructed from Riven stone with a solid Mahogany framework. The skirting and edging was constructed out of solid Mahogany.

All the Mahogany timbers and veneers were tinted to a colour of the client's choice.

Two Display panels were float mounted against the rear wall. These displays had floating 10mm glass shelves. The wall to both sides of the panels also had floating 10mm glass shelves.

The cupboards below the panels had doors and an internal structure made from Mahogany veneers. Stainless steel bar handles were used for the cupboard doors. A timber boxed foot rest with stainless steel tubing was installed along the front of the bar.

Woodbender Plettenberg Bar stools, tinted to match the Bar and upholstered in African Leather white Ostrich set off the modern appearance of this bar.

Stone Bar Modern

The Bar frontage was created with a smooth plaster finish. It had a Rustenberg stone top. The bulkhead and displays were created from Okoume tinted to match other furniture in the room.

The Bar stools, previously bought, were then sanded down and tinted to match the Bar. They were upholstered in African Leather "Pepper".

The Fish Tank was clad with Okoume doors and side panels and a further display was created on a side wall to house a double door stainless steel fridge.

Minimalist Modern Mahogany

Minimalist Modern Mahogany

The Bar design was minimalist in outline with clean shapes and lines. The look and feel was open plan in keeping with the rest of the home. The colour of the bar was tinted to the client's choice.

The Bar Top was constructed out of solid Mahogany with a buildup in the front. The total bar run was 4,900mm with an opening provided on the right hand side as you look at the pub. The frontage of the bar had an opening covered by armour plated glass to allow for the protection of the multi colour Streamlight display panels.

The balance of the Bar was constructed using Mahogany veneers for the frontage of the bar, solid Mahogany for the serving shelves, the edging and skirting. Mahogany veneers were used for the internal structure of the cupboards, the cupboard doors, the fascia to the displays and the divisions of the displays.

3 door stainless steel under bar fridge and wood cupboards

The Serving shelf below the bar allowed for a Scotsman Ice Making machine and bin cupboard to be installed. The side wall displays comprised of two compartments. These units were designed with backlit coloured glass. Below the left display space was allowed for a sink to be installed and below these displays cupboards and shelving space was provided.

A 3 door stainless steel under bar fridge was installed to the right of the entrance.

Cupboards were created to each side of the fridge.

Caesarstone Bar

This Bar was built using indigenous stones for the frontage of the bar and Caesarstone for the Bar counter.

The floating displays and shelves were created in Ash. The displays were in different sizes to create an idiosyncratic display.

Grey is the new Orange

The Bar top and front serving shelves were made from Technistone 20mm Classic Ice. The frontage of the bar was tiled with Grey Quartzite riven stone. The internal face of the bar frontage was made from a printed Melamine.

The Cupboards at the rear of the Bar also had a Technistone Classic Ice top. The Cupboard Doors had a "Shaker style" frame with an inlaid panel. These frames were Duco finished in Dulux Grey Steel and the inlay panel was Duco finished in Plascon Evasive White.

A space was created under the front serving shelf for refrigeration. Dulux Grey steel Duco finish was used for the divisions of the displays.  Two Cradle wine racks were created at each end of the back wall. The displays had Silver mirrors and glass shelves were installed. A boxed foot rest with steel tubing was installed along the front of the bar. LED down lighters (steel finish) were supplied and installed in the display units.
