Modern Wine Rack and Enclosure

The Wine rack panels are mounted on the rear wall. These panels are side lit with LED lighting.

The wall panels, holding the black powder coated wine bottle pins, are in Anigre veneers stained to the client's choice of colour.

The centre panel has shelving, which was designed for display of Whisky and Wine Bottles below.

The enclosure has it's own cooling system

Custom Wine Cellar in a Dining Room Alcove

The Wine Rack cradles were made from Solid Ash.

The cradles, doors and the right-hand side décor panel were finished in a Rubio Monocoat colour .
The MDF framework of the cabinetry has a Black duco finish. The doors to the cupboards have a ‘finger grip’ opening style and ‘ soft-close’ hinges.

A Bagnara Formica was installed as the backing board. Eezi Quartz “Nero” stone formed the cupboard tops.
A warm white LED ribbon was installed in the centre display. The centre display has 4 sculptured shelves to accommodate magnum size bottles

Maple Wine Cellar

Maple Wine Cellar

The layout incorporated the new location of the existing metal wine racks. They were interspersed with Diamond Bins designed to take 12 bottles in each complete cube of the Bins.

Canadian Maple Melawood was used for the construction of the Bins.

The Bins were created floor to ceiling. 2 rows of Pine Cradles were installed above the Metal and Bin Wine racks to enclose the racks to the ceiling.

An Armoire repurposed

An Armoire repurposed

The Armoire was not suiting the client's needs so it was changed into a Wine Cabinet.

The internal sections of the Armoire were removed.

Diamond Bins and Cradles were created in Mahogany to match the Armoire timber.

Wine Cellar Under Stairs

Two Panels, one on each side were created that followed the fall in the Under Stairs area. These panels had reinforcing cleats at the back to give strength to the vertical bottle storage style.

The shelves were spaced to allow for maximum storage. LED ribbon lighting were installed behind the panels.
The panel and shelving were made in a white Duco finish, and a panel and floating shelf was created on the back wall.

A Chilling system was installed at the back of the area.

A Bronze aluminium door frame and door was installed in the existing opening. The Door has a doubled glazed Bronze toughened glass inlay.

Pine Wine Cellar

The Wine Cellar design and finishes are a harmonious blend of solid natural Pine and Canadian Maple Melamine.
The Pine timber finish to the Cradles has a natural finish. Solid Pine was used for the open cradle sections of the Wine Cellar. The Open Bin Cabinetry was made from a Sonae Canadian Melamine finish.

Solid Pine edging was used for all edging to protect the front of the open bin cabinetry. A mini prep bowl sink cabinet was installed at the back of the Wine cellar. A cold water goose-neck tap was provided and space was made next to the sink to accommodate a Scotsman EC 86 Ice Making Machine. This cabinetry has an Arandis Gold Stone counter top and splash back.

Two Panels were created that followed the profile of the fall in the understairs area. These Panels went from the ceiling to the floor.
The panel was made in Cannero Melamine which matched the Kitchen. Solid Meranti shelves, stained to complement the Cannero Melamine, were installed on the panel.

Display shelves were created on the back wall of the Cellar.These shelves had  the same Melamine finish as the Wine Shelves.

What to do with an Under Stairs space

A Panel was created that followed the profile of the risers in the under stairs area from the underside of the stairwell to the floor.

The shelves had a sculptured profile to accommodate the body of each bottle.

Hidden LED lighting highlighted the under-stairs area around the panel.

Under Stairs Wine Rack

Two floating shelves, designed to hold a Whiskey collection, were created on the back wall of the cellar. All the shelves and panels had the same Cavalry Grey colour finish.

We created a custom-designed door, with a dark brown aluminium framework and a tinted glass panel, for the entrance to the wine cellar.

Wine Cellar Ash

Wet works, Ceiling and Painting:

We prepared the area which was to be used as the Wine Cellar by removing an existing window on the right hand side of the room. The opening was then double-skin bricked up and plastered. All walls were painted to a colour of the client's choice.

A dropped false ceiling was created and installed and LED lighting was fitted.

Wine Cellar:

Ash with a clear seal was used for the creation of the Wine Racks and Display trays. Solid Ash was used for the Cradles, edging to all veneers, skirting and scotia. Ash veneers were used for the internals of the Diamond Bins, the Cradle Bins and Display Trays.

The Wine Rack is custom made to order.

It measures 1,200mm wide by 1,000mm high.

The Rack is made from solid Mahogany and has a dark brown stain.

A tray with carrying handles is supplied to be placed at the top.

Price : R 9,500.00 excluding delivery.
