A Bar, a Braai, and Brunch

Crystal Quartz Riven Stone Bar with solid Saligna Armrest

The frontage of the Bar was constructed from Crystal Quartz riven stone with a solid Saligna framework. The front and returns of the bar has a solid Saligna Armrest. The skirting, edging and capping were constructed out of solid Saligna. Saligna Veneers were used for the divisions of the displays and the shell scheme of the cupboards.

A stainless steel rail and supports were installed on a timber base and placed in the front of the bar.

A sliding shelf and a Snomaster 15kg Ice machine

A sliding shelf was created to house a Snomaster 15kg Ice machine.
Space was created for a 3 door under bar Fridge and Wine cooler under the serving shelf run.

Three displays were installed against the rear wall. The displays have bronze mirrors and glass shelves. Below the displays, cupboards and shelves were provided. Three 5w warm white LED down lighters, steel finish were supplied and installed in the display units.

An LED white warm white was installed under the Bar overhang.

A twelve seater dining table was made in a Saligna and veneer finish to match the Bar and Braai Area.

12 Woodbender Malmo Dining Chairs, stained to match the bar and Braai area, were supplied.

The Braai  Cupboard doors and drawer fronts were made from a printed Melamine which matched the Bar area.
The Cupboard tops are made from Rustenberg granite. This top was also merged into the sill of the windows.
The Cupboard doors have a “soft close” hinge system.

The Drawers were mounted on a stainless steel ball bearing runner system. The design allowed for a Drop-In Braai, Prep Bowl and Oven/Hob.

Island Bar in Iceberg” Eezi Quartz stone top and Granite Grey Duco finish.

The Bar has a Granite Grey Duco finish. “Iceberg” Eezi Quartz stone was used for the main top and serving counter.

Drawers and cupboards were created at each wing of the bar.

The Canopy has a White Duco finish to match the ceiling. The Canopy was suspended on steel trace from the ceiling. The Canopy has 8 warm White LEDs installed.

Space was allowed for a Coolline 3 door under counter Bar fridge and a Wine Cooler.

Wine Cellar Under Stairs

Two Panels, one on each side were created that followed the fall in the Under Stairs area. These panels had reinforcing cleats at the back to give strength to the vertical bottle storage style.

The shelves were spaced to allow for maximum storage. LED ribbon lighting were installed behind the panels.
The panel and shelving were made in a white Duco finish, and a panel and floating shelf was created on the back wall.

A Chilling system was installed at the back of the area.

A Bronze aluminium door frame and door was installed in the existing opening. The Door has a doubled glazed Bronze toughened glass inlay.

100 Jorissen Pub

The Wood Studio worked together with B2B Catering Supplies to create this new Restaurant - 100 Jorissen Pub.

The Counter framework, cupboard doors and drawers were made from a Grey printed Melamine. The Counter top was Rustenberg black Granite.

Under bar fridge

The Rear Counter top was sectioned in the middle  to accommodate the under bar fridge.

The Lower front serving shelf was cut to accommodate a sink and Ice tray.

Display was constructed from Rustenberg Granite, with Grey mirrors and glass shelves

All the exposed timber beams were painted to match the colour of the Bar and Off sales Counter.

The Kitchen frontage was also painted in complementary colours to the Bar.

A Kitchen Island was designed and created in a Duco finish to match the cabinetry in the Kitchen.

The Island top has an Eezi-Quartz “Whisper” stone.

The Wine Cellar design and finishes are a harmonious blend of solid natural Pine and Canadian Maple Melamine.
The Pine timber finish to the Cradles has a natural finish. Solid Pine was used for the open cradle sections of the Wine Cellar. The Open Bin Cabinetry was made from a Sonae Canadian Melamine finish.

Solid Pine edging was used for all edging to protect the front of the open bin cabinetry. A mini prep bowl sink cabinet was installed at the back of the Wine cellar. A cold water goose-neck tap was provided and space was made next to the sink to accommodate a Scotsman EC 86 Ice Making Machine. This cabinetry has an Arandis Gold Stone counter top and splash back.

Wood bar

The frontage of the Bar and doors were constructed from Mahogany veneer panels. The skirting, edging and capping were constructed out of solid Mahogany.

A serving shelf was installed below the bar top. Mahogany Veneers were used for the divisions of the displays and the shell scheme of the cupboards. Three displays were installed against the rear wall. The displays have silver mirrors and 10mm glass shelves were installed. Chrome Wine glass rails were supplied for the centre display. Below the displays, cupboards and shelves were provided. The cupboard doors have sliding doors.

 

The Bar top has a Marquetry inlay band which which was supplied by Original Marquetry of Bristol UK.

3 door under bar fridge

Space was created for a 3 door under bar fridge in the centre of the serving shelf run. Shelving was installed to each side of the fridge under the serving shelf. Three 5w Warm White down lighters in a steel finish were supplied and installed in the display units.

The Bar top and front serving shelf was made from solid Mahogany. The frontage of the bar and doors are constructed from solid Mahogany in either a “Raised and Fielded Panel” or “Shaker” design. Mahogany veneers with solid Mahogany edging were used for the divisions of the displays and the shell scheme of the cupboards. Two displays were installed against the rear wall. The centre section was designed to mount a 55” TV on a Mahogany panel. 3 bottle row Wine Racks were created to each side of the displays.The displays have Bronze mirrors and glass shelves.

2 door under bar fridge

Below the displays, cupboards and shelving are provided. Space was created for a 2 door under bar fridge in the centre of the back cupboard run. Space was created for an Ice making Machine to the left of the cupboard run. The machine was positioned on a moveable shelf.

A timber boxed foot rest with Brass tubing was installed along the front of the bar. Two LED down lighters (brass finish) were supplied and installed in the display units together with a dimmer switch. Additionally, a Wine Rack and display was created to the left of the cupboard/display run.

Wooden drinks server

The Server was made from solid Mahogany for the “Shaker" frame work for all the doors. Mahogany Veneers were used for the inlay panels of the doors and the end decor panels. These timbers were tinted.

An Eezi Quartz "Magnolia" stone top was the serving surface for the cupboards.

An LED ribbon ran behind the lighting baffle to illuminate the serving area. A pocket door was installed over the cupboard above the integrated Fridge. This cupboard has tiered bottle displays which were also lit by LED's.

An extended bulkhead was created with LED lighting.
