A practical desk and bookcase
The Bookcase was made from a printed Melamine of the client's choice. Double boards were used to create divisions to give the bookcase strength.
Space was created on the cupboard top for a printer. The bookcase and centre shelving ran from above the desk to the ceiling.
The Desk top was made from a post-form top to match the Melamines. A two drawer cabinet was created to the left of the desk run with a cupboard further to the left. Two cupboards were created to the right of the desk.

Simply Read
This Bookcase was made from MDF with a Dulux " Ruby Fountain " Duco finish. Cupboards with a centre shelf were created at the base of the Bookcase. Double MDF boards were used to create 34mm divisions. This gave strength to the Bookcase and 36mm columns are used to cover the divisions.
The Bookshelves were made from 22mm MDF. This thickness gives strength to the bookcase shelves. The right hand exposed panel and the doors had a “shaker style “finish. The bookcase and shelving ran from floor to the underside of the Bulkhead.

This Desk was made to match the paneling in the library we created. The Desk was made from Mahogany and had a "Partners Desk" style.
The top of the Desk had a leather inlay.

This custom made Desk and Cupboard layout was made from Beech.
The wall mounted Cupboards had doors with glass inlays.
All the drawers and doors had "Tip/Touch" and soft close mechanisms so handles were unnecessary.

The Cupboard tops, skirting, capping and edging were made from solid Mahogany timber. The balance of the Bookcase was made from Mahogany veneers. Double veneer boards were used to create 34 mm divisions. The Bookshelves will be made from 22mm Mahogany veneers. These thicknesses give strength to the bookcase.
The doors had solid timber frames with veneer inlays. The bookcase ran from floor to ceiling. The design of the bookcase allowed for the TV to be mounted in the centre. An open space was created for the Home entertainment unit. A drawer was created below this opening and then space was provided for a sub-woofer.
A Library ladder, made from solid Mahogany was be provided. This ladder was supported on a solid timber ladder rail.

This Bookcase was made from solid Mahogany and had a "Raised and Fielded" panel design for the doors and drawer fronts. Solid Mahogany was used for the top of the cupboards, cupboard doors, door frames for the doors over the bookcases at each end, drawer fronts, fluted columns, edging, skirting and capping. Double veneer boards were used to create 34mm fluted divisions.
The Bookshelves were made from 22mm Mahogany veneers. This thickness gave strength to the bookcases. The bookcase had Mahogany backing, solid frame doors with toughened glass inlays at each side of the open display, and an open section in the centre with drawers at the base and shelving above. It ran from floor to ceiling.

This Bookcase was made from solid Mahogany and had a "Raised and Fielded" panel design for the doors and drawer fronts.
Solid Mahogany was used for the top of the Cupboards, frames for the doors with glass inlays as well as the skirting,edging and capping to the top of the Bookcase. Matching Mahogany veneers were used for the shell scheme of the cupboards. 22 mm Mahogany veneers were used for the shelves to give strength.

These Duco Bookcases are custom made to run around the walls of the room to create a reference library for a Business college in Johannesburg. The Bookcases have a modern clean line appearance with plain capping and a bold frontage to the shelves.
The Bookcases are made from MDF, Duco finished to a " Dulux" Charcoal colour finish. Double boards are used to create plain 34mm divisions.This gives strength to the structure.
The Bookshelves are made from double 16mm MDF which gives a strong finish to the front of the shelving. The bookcases run from floor to ceiling. The Bookcase on the main wall has a cupboard, drawer and shelving in the corner. A Library ladder and rail enables easy reach to the books at ceiling height.

This Bookcase was manufactured in a printed Lockeport Melamine finish. All edges had 2mm high impact edging.
The spacing was defined by the client to accommodate her various sizes of books. The first shelf was 350mm from cupboard top. All the other shelves were 250mm apart. The shelves had a 50mm adjustment above and below.
Space was created on the left to accommodate a flat screen TV.

A Desk and Bookcase was made in solid Pine and tinted to match existing Pine furniture in the room

This Bookcase, made in Iceberg Melawood, was installed under the stairs.
The shelving was staggered to allow for display of photos, memorabilia and books.
